Y&I is Hillsboro’s answer to young professionals looking for an opportunity to:

1. Make connections and build relationships
2. Advance their careers
3. Have some fun on a Thursday night
4. Have an impact on their community

Y&I holds monthly events at various locations around the Hillsboro area. Some are purely social in nature, while others include important professional education or civic involvement components. All events offer valuable networking opportunities exclusively for professionals under 40. These events expose participants to unique local venues, fellow young professionals, and current and future business and community leaders.

The first YI event was held in February 2007 and attracted approximately 80 young professionals to the historic Cornelius Pass Roadhouse. While Y&I is a program of the Hillsboro Chamber of Commerce, membership is not required. Anyone under 40 is welcome to attend – just check out our calendar page and drop by the next event!
